My hard drive crashed
I lost a lot of favorites
my Outlook tanked
the contact list wiped clean
So I upgraded Windows
a new interface to learn
my Outlook is improving
as I organize my files
The loss is a lesson
the universe is teaching me
to let go of clinging
and a need for resolution
The technical challenges I’ve been facing for the past few weeks have taken the time I usually spend journaling, polishing poems, and participating in this blogging community. I hope that I will now be able to return to the community, get back to reading others’ blogs, and contributing again myself.

Welcome back to predictability … love your use of Outlook in senses of both software and innerware.

Sorry you cannot open this, V.J. It is a stunning video of people in third world nations reading problems we have that are so minor (like the crash of my hard drive) compared to them just needing housing and water and food. Maybe this link will work: https://waterislife.com/

Sorry for your “Loss” Lu Ann. One of my New Years goals was to back up my hard drive on a regular basis. I purchased this little Toshiba external hardrive on Amazon. So far so good! https://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-HDTC910XK3AA-Advance-Portable-External/dp/B079H7VYY6/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1521827214&sr=1-2&refinements=p_4%3AToshiba&th=1

Yes, I have an external drive if I would just back things up more regularly! The big loss was my applications such as Office and Photoshop. It is a pain to repurchase and then install these but I am learning through the process to be ok with letting go of stuff. Thank you for your kind thoughts.
