I Have…

concerns
Trump’s agenda,
race inequality,
growing hate, otherness and war –
worries

I Also Have…

control
to respect all,
act with lovingkindness,
connect in honest playfulness
and smile

We have been exploring different poetic forms in my writers group this month. One of the forms we’ve explored is the cinquain. This post is an example of two cinquains, not exactly mirror cinquains in which the second one would have the opposite syllable distribution. It is more of a two-step cinquain I suppose.
