I love the sentiment and the hope and optimism that bursts out of the poem! One of my favorite quotes is Frankl’s “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

“Fortuity” does that my day, LuAnne, so it must be up there. 🙂

In fact, it reminds me of the very moment I started the Fool’s journey. Boarded an ocean liner, stowed my gear, joined the crowd on the observation deck to watch the departure, when the PA barked and we heard that departure would be delayed, due to a labor strike, until further notice. Oh, how the moans and groans and boos a oaths of my fellow stranded passengers made me laugh!
