Alanna, that is wonderful. I started a ‘diary’ after my freshman year of high school, but dropped off in college. I picked it up after my dad died and it helped me through my grief. I guess I have been journaling since then. I agree with you, it keeps me grounded as well. Thanks for your comment.
Worn exterior means doing stuff, which is goodness, like Twain said “Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been”, so I see it in a positive, joyous way, one that contributed to the bulging ideas!

Same sentiments here. I’ve been keeping a journal of some sort since high school. Journaling keeps me grounded.
