Enjoy bare feet in dewy morning grass,
look for hummingbirds and turtles on a log
savor juicy melons and sweet strawberries
watch late sunsets while lying in the hammock
~ until you pause and reflect ~
that soon bare feet will chill on morning floors
maples will take on a fiery hue
you’ll don a sweatshirt for walks in the woods and
sip spiced cider while watching early sunsets
Have balanced equinox – autumnal or spring – depending on your hemisphere.

Thank you, VJ. Yesterday the high here was 83 and today it is 60. Autumn did come today!

I enjoyed your eloquent words, LuAnne, and the subtle seasonal changes. A beautiful salute to the equinox.

Thanks, Jet, for your kind words. We had more than a twenty degree drop in the high for today since yesterday so the equinox made herself known (on wings of wind) in our slice of the world.
