June,
irises spent,
lilies blooming
allium bursting like aliens
nice cream and cherries
blue and strawberries
barefoot walks in the yard
followed by hammock respite
Jan 6 committee hearings
open windows and ceiling fans
green, green and more green
energetic thunderstorms
moon phases swallowed by tree leaves
a good place to be today,
June
All photos in the collage were taken in my neighborhood in Troy, MI
I too am loving my lilies, echinacea, hydrangeas….they feed my soul which I need during these turbulent, scary times!

Thanks for stopping by. The deer ate half my lily blooms but the other half do make me smile. I guess I should be glad to share. 🙂

You’re joyful words remind me of Henry Miller’s “The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.” 🌸
