Be of good cheer
on sunny days
Earth warmed
with solar power
especially in spring
Be of good cheer
during thunderstorms
Earth nourished
by electric skies
especially in spring

Uplifting! I have to remember that those spring rains serve a purpose!

Yes! Not only do we all need water, when lightning hits the ground, it gives the earth nitrates that are necessary for plant growth. And we all need plants! Thanks for stopping by.

We most certainly need our plants!

What a delightful way of using opposites to show the similarities, and build on that to highlight that without one would we appreciate the other?

Thank you for your comment, EW. Yes, would we enjoy sunshine if we never had rain? I visited friends in Palm Springs one summer, a place with lots of sunshine and little rain. We would go to the graveyard to see green and play under the sprinklers needed to keep the place green. I don’t think the residents minded. 🙂 Glad you stopped by.
