Early spring, a day for daydreams
Lazy zephyr in the air
Birds at play, wind chimes sing
Budding limbs reach up in prayer
I walk outside with just a sweater
Good day to be under the weather

The Day Seven prompt is to disagree with a proverb or saying.
Compliment this poem with a Wind Rush post called, Singing Along with Ella Fitzgerald.
Delightful “under the weather” perspective!

Ah, you didn’t disagree so much as subvert it! Very clever.

The morning when I wrote that one was so sunny. By the time I posted it, the sky was overcast and gloomy. I couldn’t have written it without the sun’s help. 🙂
