It's a sun-cloudy day mid-day, mid-autumn, half the leaves have fallen, the other half still dot the branches It's not freezing, but it's not warm I'm not excited about much right now but neither am I bored on this cloud-sunny day
Compliment this poem with Shape Shifters and No Boundaries, both prior posts on Wind Rush.

LuAnne, your cloud-sunny day suspends me – Midmost – between Thomas Hood’s November and the Sunshine State. π

I had to look up “November” and found it and I liked it. Thanks.

Thanks, Bill. Since I penned this poem, the trees have dropped almost all their leaves.

Nice poem on a cloudy day, LuAnne. Though at times it makes our mood very dull though.

I know what you mean, Kamal. I try to be grateful to be alive under any sky, but this time of year is a little melancholy I think. Thanks for dropping by and commenting.
