In a world of habitual wanting more money, less aging, promotion, we find ourselves trapped within a consciousness of lack We are able to shift this perception, though from focusing on what we are lacking to a perception of seeing abundance focused instead on our blessings We get to breathe, others love us we have indoor plumbing, we can read rains come and nourish the earth the sun rises each day Practicing gratitude for blessings shifts focus toward abundance and breaks the cycle of just seeing lack The more we practice gratitude for the ever-present gifts of life the more we attract blessings that when focused upon thus create a consciousness of abundance
The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing which stands in the way… As a man is, so he sees. William Blake
