I usually prefer short poems
with their bright burst of enlightenment
like finger-of-god sun rays
that suddenly pierce the clouds
But I savor your longer poems
that touch me from years and miles away
as a growing dawn developing into a sunburst
that I should have expected
but always find me surprised

I’ll have to check out those posts, Denny. He’s one of my favorites, too, and I am inspired by taking an online course right now with him. Hope all is well with you. I’ve been behind in reading posts and writing. Hoping to get back into the swing of it soon. Glad you stopped by.
