Roget's Thesaurus

The buoyancy of levity
weighs lightly
on my mood
it’s “as light as any wind blows
as Tennyson once wrote

My worries are ethereal,
like gossamer fairy fluff
just “an airy nothing”
as in the Shakespeare quote

NaPoWriMo2019logo Day Twenty-four prompt: Write a poem that is inspired by a reference book.  I chose my favorite reference book, Roget’s Thesaurus. I focused on the section on LIGHTNESS.
