All the way to heaven is heaven itself. – Zen saying
Ah, the journey to heaven
has no end
no beginning either for that matter
It’s the journey itself
that makes an imprint with each step
Heaven is felt as
feet sink in damp grass
It borders the path
with willows and wildflowers
You’ll find heaven in clouds
shaped as dragons and bunnies
Listen for heaven as
you climb creaky stairs
Heaven tickles your tongue
with cool water when parched
It’s shadows that dance
as leaves bob in a breeze
You can find heaven in
morning’s fleeting sunrise
and evening’s vibrant sunset
All day, all year, all your life
as you notice heaven along the way
you will know you have always
been in heaven
and always will
