Uncertainty is winking
within this labyrinth of life
mystery interspersed throughout
the dead ends of certainty
Along the path of not-knowing
I am humbled by an unfamiliar joy
the taste of ambiguity,
the rustling of new perspective
devoid of any closure
open to an arising of what is
My tiny world is athwart
to the infinity of the universe
an intimate meeting of the two
at the intersection
My primal heart accepts that
no correct perspective exists
my need for resolution gives way
to a dwindling lust for the definitive,
opening a space
to marvel at the mystery
I love the idea that uncertainty is winking – a beautiful write LuAnne :o) xxx

Thank you, Xenia. I mostly collected words I liked from my morning readings and then put them together in a poem. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your kind comment.

As beautiful as it is profound,,,I love ‘the dead ends of certainty” and, like Xenia, I really like the image of uncertainty winking. Thanks, LuAnne.

Love the “winking”! And thinking of path of un-knowing as a labyrinth ultimately leading to center is splendid.
