De-cluttering

clutter

I have all this stuff
in my house
in my head
even in my heart

Let me clear out this clutter
to open up the space for
living deeply with a scarcity of transient things
living deeply with a scarcity of reverence to rewards
living deeply with a scarcity of attachment to any one truth

This poem was inspired by a Parker Palmer article called The Clarity and Truth in Winter’s Scarcity which includes a lovely Mary Oliver poem called On Winter’s Margin.
Photo was taken of a corner in my chaos room with a sponge filter through PhotoShop.

    1. Thank you again, Alex. I think it might load quickly because I do not have much posted other than text and a graphic per post. I rarely use multiple graphics, or videos. That might be what is going on. Thanks again.
