If I write out a list of things to accomplish today
I will not write that I need to get milk,
or weed the garden
or finish the laundry
I will not include mopping the floors
or even editing a poem
for those chores are ongoing and
can never be marked off a list
So instead I will note ongoing intentions
to live in harmony with my environment
and speak with lovingkindness
to be grateful for my health and my breath
to notice small gifts from this generous universe
and nurture creative expression
with these intentions all things that need to be done
will be accomplished with joy
That is a wonderful list LuAnne! :o) xxx
