A thousand pictures within each thousand pictures
A thousand thoughts within each thousand thoughts
A thousand voices within each thousand voices
Deliquesce into a mist of
One being and all the not-being that surrounds it

Such a lovely poem, LuAnne, and I added a new word (deliquesce) to my vocabulary. Thanks for the gift of both.

Thank you, Joan. I just recently learned that word. I get a word-of-the-day and “deliquesce” was the word a few weeks ago. I saved it because I loved the sound. When I first wrote this poem I used “evaporate” but wasn’t happy with that sound. Then I remembered “deliquesce” and thought that word fit so much better. I love playing with words.:) So glad you liked the poem.

I’ve always loved words and also had to bring out the dictionary for deliquesce. Nice writing.

And this poem sounds great. A deep meaning within each thousand meanings. And surrounded by it.
