Have courage, dear one, to start a riot,
a sloppy mess of sweeping sketches.
Sprawl courageous strokes
that spill right off the paper.
If the axis of a new creation
does not spring forth from the chaos
you’ll still have scattered scraps of play
to later feast your eyes upon
and say, “Well, look.
Just will you look at that!”
