Ice sparkles on bare limbs
Frozen dew drops
Caught for a moment
In dawn’s rays
Almost missed it, though,
Because the windows were so dirty.
One resolve for the new year is to see the beauty beyond the challenges.
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. – Marcel Proust
inspired interpretation of reality – love it! and thank you for posting; also the picture is breathtaking

Thank you, Sarah. I wish now I had taken the photo through the (dirty) window, but I did enjoy the wake-up blast of cold air going out to get the picture. Glad you dropped by.

Lovely images both poetic and photographic and I like the dash of realism at the end of the fancy. I too have windows in need of cleaning. But it’s too cold to clean them so I have a reprieve ’till spring!

I seem to need to wash my windows both literally and metaphorically as well. Thanks for reading.

you’re welcome 🙂 We could all use a wash metaphorically to our windows I think.
